Your Role:
As a UI Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our user interfaces, making complex data accessible and interactive in order to enhance our analytics and visualization capabilities. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to enhance dashboards, monitoring, and reporting tools, ensuring our solutions are not only powerful but also a joy to use.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement intuitive, responsive UIs for our cloud-based Smart Grid platforms.
- Transform complex time-series data from energy sensors and control devices into compelling visualizations and reporting.
- Embrace and advocate for best practices in UI development, including modern JavaScript frameworks, CSS, and HTML5.
- Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, responsive, and accessible across various devices and platforms.
- Optimize UI performance to handle large volumes of real-time and historical energy data.
- Understand and implement security and data protection best practices.
- Continuously improve performance, scalability, and usability of our interface, staying ahead of the curve on emerging technologies and trends in UI design for IoT and Smart Grid applications.
We’re Looking for Someone With:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5, with experience in frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proven experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio showcasing time series dashboards (e.g. Grafana), data visualizations (e.g. Power BI) and customizations.
- Experience with automation test and benchmarking tools and frameworks
- Experience of modern authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth 2.0, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), SAS (Shared Access Signatures)
- A flair for visual design and creating engaging user experiences.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- A problem-solving mindset and a passion for clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile environment.
- A curious and innovative spirit, eager to contribute to the evolution of smart energy solutions.
